A transition is coming requiring we work for the common good  neighborhood to neighborhood and build a shared economy with less dependence on money even if a local economy is entrepreneurial with small business capitalism and various levels of cooperatives.

Localisation will forge a better future through local exchanges, enterprise groups and local product support and a part of that process will be work trading exchanges not just simple barter.

Local volunteers help with safety, protection and support groups. Use blogs to network locally... to discuss things like 'my leaking taps,' ask for assistance, notify what's happening over food supply issues for instance.

Work Trader uses time transfer to account for work effort rather than barter currency.

Work and exchange with anyone since working for a client directly in a reciprocal manner is not required but remains an option. Time trading work is a circular method that opens trading opportunities and yet fits within existing economic structures.

All sorts of skills and abilities may be traded and no task is too small. Type in offers of work along with a profile. Add skills for professional, domestic, labour, carer and other categories. Cost factors are between members.

Trade hours along with goods and money is an option. Any hours accrued can be exchanged for a variety of jobs done in return.

Volunteers help local business and individuals form community networks and conduct local community markets with other ventures such a food hub projects.

Members may choose to volunteer time as a social service for a community and individuals as another option but also operate as a business and with businesses as well.
